Nursing Assistant-level study plus many additional topics. Includes
hands-on training and on-the-job experience. Also includes ongoing

 | Start-up Planning: Helping
with the application process, finding an appropriate location,
informal financial planning, equipping the home. |
 | Marketing: Communicating
about the network to those who may connect us with persons in need
of care. |
 | Referral management: We
will handle all initial contacts with persons needing care and their
representatives. All calls about availability are handled centrally
for all network members. We can identify the care needs and communicate
them confidentially to care home owners, or simply direct seekers to
care providers to complete the process. |
 | Service Agreement management:
Once a person needing care chooses a care home, we ensure that
paperwork is handled promptly, completely and consistently among all
network care homes. |
 | Record-keeping services: We
will provide the owner-directed, CPA-supervised back-office
financial record-keeping assistance, with the goal of training the
care home owner to eventually take control and self-manage these
tasks. |
 | Staff pool management: Hire
and manage a pool of qualified staff members to provide backup care
to network members. Care home providers reimburse the network for
the staff assistance received. |
 | Emergency assistance:
Providing on-call backup assistance in case of crisis or questions
that need immediate answers. |
 | Quarterly care home inspections:
We do regular checks to ensure the home is fulfilling all of its
responsibilities to maintain licensure. |
 | Long-range informal financial planning:
We make available education and we set goals with care home owners
to plan for future needs, budget funds for emergencies, and
generally support good stewardship. |
